We are elated to welcome you to Church Park Apartments in downtown Boston and The HeartBrothers House, featuring beautifully designed luxury apartments each offering the comforts of home.
The HeartBrothers House is designed to provide you with a well-appointed area of respite during what is—as we know first-hand—a very stressful time

Launched in 2020, HeartBrothers House is the culmination of a dream born when our Co-Founders Pat Sullivan and Bob Romer were recovering from their own heart transplants years ago. They had witnessed first-hand how challenging it was to cover their spouses’ astronomical lodging and travel costs while they received critical care, had LVADs implanted, waited for donor hearts, and recovered from transplants.
Families approaching the HeartBrothers Foundation for financial support have most frequently cited the soaring costs of hotels and short-term housing near Heart Failure Centers as their biggest non-medical economic burden. We could not be more thrilled to invite Heart Failure patients and their families to stay with us at HeartBrothers House today.

“There have been so many miracles in my life, including the HeartBrothers.”
-Karen Klimczak
Karen knows a lot about miracles. After living with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure for years, she received a life-saving transplant on New Year’s Eve, 2020, at Tufts Medical Center. She and her family live in Avon, CT, and needed a safe place to stay both pre- and post-transplant. The HeartBrothers House offered them just that—with luxury accommodations close to the hospital.
